How ICD-O-3 Morphology Works
ICD-O codes have the format M-XXXX/Y:
• XXXX is the Histology component (cell type).
• Y is the Behaviour component (e.g., /3 for malignant primary, /0 for benign).
This tool automatically expands synonyms like "cancer" into "carcinoma" to improve results.
